'Drop in on Jimmy' with a tour at the James Boag & Son Brewery. Brewing premium beer for over 120 years in Launceston, many Tasmanians not only have an affinity for the brew, but a relationship. Popularity of the beer has extended to mainland Australia where it has received scores of awards. Merchandise sales are available weekdays from 8:30am to 5pm. Tours demonstrating beer production are Monday through Thursday at 9am, 11:45am, 2:30pm, and Friday at 9am and 11:45am. Bookings are essential.
