This urban reserve is more than a stunning spectacle of the natural world; it is also a recreational haven. Walking trails, swimming pools, fishing, abseiling and rafting are just some of the activities found in the gorge, as well as an interpretive centre, eating facilities and the Kings Bridge Cataract Walk, a pathway along the cliff's face. For the best seat in the house, visitors can take a ride on the world's longest spanning chairlift at 308 m (924 ft) or take a cruise down the gorge in a pedal steamer.
