Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park is Tasmania's most popular tourist destination. A United Nations World Heritage Site, the park encompasses 161,000 ha (397,670 acres) of mountains, lakes, rivers, and forests. In addition both Cradle Mountain and Lake St. Clair, Australia's deepest lake, the park is also home to the famous Overland Track and Mt. Ossa, Tasmania's highest mountain.
